Mahama Transition Team Announces Anti-Corruption Preparatory Team

The Transition Team of President-Elect John Dramani Mahama has announced the formation of a preparatory team to spearhead the rollout of his anti-corruption agenda. This move is part of Mahama’s commitment to recovering proceeds of corruption and holding accountable those involved in such acts once he assumes office.

The five-member team is tasked with gathering information from the public and other sources on suspected acts of corruption as a preparatory measure. The team includes:

1. Hon. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa – Chairman

2. Mr. Daniel Domelevo – Former Auditor-General

3. COP (Rtd.) Nathaniel Kofi Boakye

4. Mr. Martin Kpebu – Private Legal Practitioner

5. Mr. Raymond Archer – Investigative Journalist

The anti-corruption initiative, dubbed Operation Recover All Loot (ORAL), forms a key pillar of Mahama’s 2024 campaign policy platform. It seeks to recover lost state funds and combat corruption across various sectors. According to the statement, President-Elect Mahama intends to hit the ground running with these commitments upon assuming office.
