Trailblazing at 21: Meet Nana Danquah Adjei Domson – Ghana’s Youngest Lawyer

At just 21, Nana Danquah Adjei Domson, Esq. has carved his name into Ghana’s legal history as the youngest lawyer to be called to the Bar in 2025 – a feat that’s both inspiring and defining for a new generation of African youth.

Born on April 12, 2004, in Breman Asikuma in the Asikuma Odoben Brakwa District of Ghana’s Central Region, Nana Danquah’s journey reflects discipline, brilliance, and unwavering purpose. The youngest of three siblings, he was raised in a Christian home that nurtured faith, diligence, and a sense of service; values that have clearly followed him into his legal career.

His academic path was nothing short of extraordinary. Completing Colonel Baidoo School at just 12 years old, he went on to Breman Asikuma Senior High School for a year before transferring to Life International College in Tema, where he completed his secondary education at only 15. His sharp intellect and determination led him to the University of Cape Coast Faculty of Law, where he earned First Class Honours upon graduation in 2023.

With his sights set on professional excellence, Nana Danquah pursued legal training at the Ghana School of Law at Makola, completing the programme in record time. On Friday, October 10, 2025, he was called to the Bar at a prestigious ceremony that drew applause from both the media and legal communities. The event, attended by members of the Judiciary, the General Legal Council, and industry colleagues, was widely celebrated across social media – marking a proud moment for Ghana and its youth.

Nana Danquah’s ambitions go beyond courtroom victories. He hopes to simplify Ghanaian and international laws to make them more accessible to citizens, helping people understand how the law shapes daily socio-economic life. For him, justice must be clear, relatable, and inclusive.
