The Ghana National Service Authority (NSA) has extended the deadline for the ongoing online registration of prospective national service personnel for the 2025/2026 service year.
Initially set to close on Wednesday, 15th October 2025, the registration period will now end on Friday, 24th October 2025.
In a statement released on Wednesday, the Authority explained that the extension aims to give additional time to eligible graduates who could not complete their registration before the initial deadline.
“All Service Personnel are required to report to their respective places of posting and commence their national service by Monday, 3rd November 2025,” the statement noted, cautioning that anyone who fails to register by 24th October will be excluded from this year’s postings.
The NSA encouraged all prospective personnel to take advantage of the new window and complete their registration via the official portal – www.gnsa.gov.gh. It also warned against engaging with unverified websites or individuals posing as agents, stressing that the system has in-built protections but urged applicants to remain vigilant.

The Authority expressed gratitude to stakeholders for their cooperation and reaffirmed its commitment to a smooth, transparent, and fair registration and deployment process for all graduates preparing to serve the nation.
As national service continues to play a crucial role in shaping Ghana’s young workforce, the NSA’s extension offers another opportunity for graduates to contribute meaningfully to national development.
