Multiple award-winning Ghanaian broadcaster and philanthropist, Serwaa Amihere, has officially joined the Ghana Bar, marking a remarkable transition from the newsroom to the courtroom.
Serwaa Amihere, who began her career at GHOne TV in 2014, was among the latest batch of lawyers called to the Bar at a prestigious ceremony held on Friday, October 10, 2025, drawing applause from both the media and legal communities. The event, attended by members of the Judiciary, the General Legal Council, and industry colleagues, was widely celebrated across social media.
Known for her commanding presence on GHOne TV, Serwaa Amihere has spent years quietly pursuing a career in law while maintaining her media duties. She earned a degree in Business and Finance from Methodist University in 2013 before obtaining her LLB from GIMPA and completing her professional training at the Ghana School of Law.
Her journey from broadcasting to law has been widely praised as an inspiration to young professionals, especially women, who aspire to combine multiple passions or break barriers.

Beyond the screen, Serwaa leads the Serwaa Amihere Foundation, which supports underprivileged communities through education, healthcare, and business initiatives. She is also an entrepreneur, co-owning Office and Co by SA and Oh My Hair/Oh My Nails.
